Mount Iriga

Mount Iriga, or Iriga Volcano, is an active volcano in the province of Camarines Sur (13°27.4'N, 123°27.4'E) in the Philippines.
Mount Iriga is a stratovolcano about a kilometer from Lake Buhi. It rises 1,143 meters and a base diameter of 10 kilometers.
Iriga erupted in 1628 and 1642.
Iriga is generally known for its phreatic explosions. It is one of the 22 active volcanoes in the Philippines: Babuyan Claro, Banahaw, Biliran, Bud Dajo, Mount Bulusan, Cagua, Camiguin de Babuyanes, Didicas, Hibok-Hibok, Iraya, Mount Kanlaon, Leonard Kniaseff, Makaturing, Matutum, Mayon, Musuan, Mount Parker (Cotabato), Pinatubo, Ragang, Smith Volcano, Taal. They are all part of the so-called "Pacific ring of fire."
