Murder Mystery the band
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Murder Mystery, formed in early 2005, is an indie rock band from New York city. Led by songwriter Jeremy Coleman (vocals/guitar), the band also features Jeremy's sister, Laura Coleman (drums/vocals), Adam Fels (bass/vocals) and Kevin Jaszek (guitar/vocals).
In its initial stages, Murder Mystery consisted only of Jeremy, Laura and Adam. For a year they played the club circuit in New York and garnered critical acclaim as a "throbbing three-piece," but in mid-2006 they decided to add Jaszek to "fill out the sound, baby." Formerly of the popular rock groups The Algiers and the Dropped From Labels, Jaszek was already a fixture on the scene and a well-known and respected guitarist.
