Nyra

Nyra is the mate of the evil Kludd, who is the brother of Soren and Eglantine, from the Ga'Hoole series.. Nyra was born on the night of a lunar eclipse, with the name of an anti-god in owl legends. Nyra is also mother of Coryn (originally named Nyroc) who was also born on the night of a lunar eclipse. She was the second in command for the Pure Ones and was the mate of the previous High Tyto. She, having been born on the eclipse, has a powerful and terrible enchantment cast over her. She does not believe in good or evil: just power. Nyra is a supposed hagsfiend. Coryn discovers this while reading The First Collier (Book 9). She later is found older and less beautiful than she was in The Golden Tree, where she wants to get the Book of Kreeth, possibly to conjure Kludd back again, more deadlier than before. She doesn't succeed, and flies off...
