Nautica Thorn (born June 13, 1984, in Waipahu, Hawai'i) is an American pornographic actress.
Thorn's ethnicity is half Japanese, a quarter Puerto Rican, and a quarter Hawaiian, with her mother and father working as secretary and in the construction business, respectively.[2] She says she lost her virginity at age 14.[1] She grew up in Hawaii and moved to California when she was sixteen.
Thorn's first job was as a promotion and marketing person for a record company when she was 14.[3] After she turned 18, she began working as a stripper. Shortly afterwards an agent gave her his card. Spurred by this act, Thorn went from dancing to nude modelling then to masturbation scenes then to hardcore sex.[1]
Initially she worked an aggressive schedule of film bookings, working every day. She says about that pace "it just killed me" and that she "kept on getting torn and yeast infections". She now limits herself to just five or six shoots a month.[3]
