Neil Kerley

Donald Neil Kerley (born February 20, 1934) is a former Australian rules football player and coach.

Kerley played his career in South Australia in the SANFL, spanning 1952-1969. He played for West Adelaide, Glenelg and South Adelaide. He was revered not only in his hometown of Adelaide, but in Victoria, due to his presence in interstate State of Origin games. He represented South Australia 32 times, and was feared for his toughness. Overall, Kerley played 260 SANFL games, won All-Australian selection in 1961, and captained all 3 of his clubs.
