NewsCenter (NotiCentro in Spanish) is the name given to a number of local-news operations at American television stations.

The name was first used in 1967 by WAPA-TV in San Juan, Puerto Rico as NotiCentro, and later in 1972 on ABC affiliate WCVB in Boston when it began operations. The name later spread to several NBC owned-and-operated stations, which then encouraged other affiliates of NBC (and other networks) to use the title.

Similar titles were also used on newscasts in other countries. Brazil's SBT used Noticentro (a Portuguese derivation of NewsCenter) for its national newscast from 1981 to 1988. The Spanish name Noticentro was used in many Latin American countries. In Australia, the name News Centre was used by the Nine Network in the 1970s (as News Centre Nine) in Sydney and Melbourne, and by BTV-6 in Ballarat, now a part of WIN Television, in the 1980s (as News Centre Six). In Canada, the NewsCentre title was used by Vancouver's CBUT in the 1980s, and by Saskatoon's CFQC-TV in the 1990s. It was also used in Italy by Canale 5 for its national newscast (as News Centro 5) when it began operations in the early 1980s. In Japan, public broadcaster NHK launched News Center 9 (NC9) in 1974. NC9 achieved tremendous popularity as the first of its kind newscast in Japan. NC9 aired from Monday to Friday at 9 pm, and ran until 1988.
