Newton MRT Station (NS21) is a station on the North South Line in on the Mass Rapid Transit in Singapore. It is located along Scotts Road and is an underground station. It is the shallowest underground MRT Station on the North South and East West MRT Lines at just about 12m underground. Its livery is orange. The station is near landmarks such as the Newton Food Centre. A planned Downtown MRT Line, to built by the Land Transport Authority in future, is expected to have an interchange at this station.
