Nick Harmer

Nick Harmer (born January 23, 1975 in Landstuhl, Germany) is the bassist for the band Death Cab for Cutie.

He attended Governor John R. Rogers High School in Puyallup, Washington, and was President of his senior class.

His father, George Harmer, is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army and is a controller for Gensco, Inc, a Tacoma, Washington wholesale firm. His mother, Sheryl Harmer, has just resigned as a director with the nonprofit organization Committee for Children, based in Seattle, Washington. Nick has one brother named Andrew who was recently married in May.
