Nigel Rees

Nigel Rees (born June 5, 1944, near Liverpool) is a British author and presenter, best known for devising and hosting the Radio 4 panel game Quote... Unquote and for his keen interest in the use and misuse of the English language. He attended Merchant Taylors' School, Crosby and New College, Oxford.
During his career he has also co-presented the Today programme, performed sketch comedy in The Burkiss Way and been a regular guest in Dictionary Corner on Countdown. He is the author of more than fifty books, mostly on the popular use of the English language.
