No Rest for the Wicked is an album by Ozzy Osbourne. It was released in October 22, 1988 and it was re-issued on August 22, 1995. The album was certified gold in December of 1989 and has since gone double platinum. ^[1] No Rest for the Wicked was the first album to feature Zakk Wylde on guitar.

• The original release of this included photographs of all the band members involved in the recording of the album. One member, bassist Bob Daisley filed a lawsuit against Osbourne in the mid 1990's for unpaid royalties for his songwriting credits for most of Osbourne's songs up to that time^{[citation needed]}. As 'payback' for this, Osbourne's wife and manager, Sharon had all photographs and references of Daisley removed from all subsequent pressings of the disc^{[citation needed]}. Present versions now show photos of bassist Geezer Butler. Fellow member of Black Sabbath, who was a member of Osbourne's band for the tour supporting the album after its release.

• The 2002 remastered CD versions of the album includes the song "Hero" (unlabelled last track on the original CD release) and two bonus tracks: "The Liar" (originally available only in the Japanese edition) and a live recording of "Miracle Man."
• On the 1989 Black Sabbath release Headless Cross, the track "Call of the Wild" was originally going to be titled "Hero" but was changed after finding out Osbourne's album had a track by the same title.

• The videos for Miracle Man, Crazy Babies, and Crazy Train (Randy Rhoads Tribute Version) were released in the Wicked Videos home video with some behind the scenes footage.

• "Miracle Man" is about the Reverend Jimmy Swaggart's 1988 prostitution scandal and the general hypocrisy, in Osbourne's eyes, of "televangelists". In the video for the song Zakk Wylde wears a mask with the likeness of Swaggart and Ozzy cavorts with swine, his pants around his ankles, carrying around a large staff decorated with a dollar sign.^{[citation needed]}
• "Crazy Babies" is about babies born addicted to drugs.
• "Bloodbath in Paradise" is about the Tate/LeBianca murders by The Manson Family, although it is stated by Phil Alexander, Editor-In-Chief of Kerrang! Magazine that it is about the Vietnam war in the 2002 remaster booklet.
• "Demon Alcohol" is about the dangers of alcohol, much like "Suicide Solution" from Blizzard of Ozz.
