Northern Virginia Royals are an American soccer team, founded in 1998. The team is a member of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, and play in the Mid-Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference in against teams from Fredericksburg, Reading, Richmond, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg.

The Royals play their home games primarily in the stadium at Gar-Field Senior High School in the city of Woodbridge, Virginia, but during 2007 also played at Robinson Field on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and at the Valley View Sports Complex in Manassas, Virginia. The team's colors are gold, blue and white.

Throughout their recent history, the Royals have enjoyed minor league affiliation with D.C. United, the nearby Major League Soccer franchise. In addition to the PDL team, the Royals’ parent organisation, NoVa FC, also controls the Northern Virginia Majestics W-League side, a Futsal league, and numerous youth leagues. The club also fields a team in the USL’s Super-20 League, a league for players 17 to 20 years of age run under the United Soccer Leagues umbrella.
