Northgate is a suburb of Brisbane, Australia located 9km north of the Brisbane CBD.

Neil Roberts, State MP for Nudgee is located in Northgate. Neil Roberts represents Labour for the area Northgate is in, other suburbs involved are Virginia, Toombul, Nundah, Nudgee and Banyo.
Northgate railway station is also the junction for the Shorncliffe & North Coast Lines, with frequent services to the City, Shorncliffe & Caboolture and interurban services to Nambour/Gympie. Brisbane Transport also operates bus services through this suburb.
Northgate holds the Golden Circle processing plant, which is on Acacia Av. Golden Circle takes up over a Kilometer of length with its factories processing all the Golden Circle foods which are found in stores all around Australia. The Golden Circle factory contains a cafe for visitors to come to, and sample the tastes of Golden Circle.
Norths Rugby League football club is located in Northgate, and has brought out quite a few famous Australian footballers, including Melbourne Storm players Billy Slater, Greg Inglis and Cooper Cronk.
–Lockie, George William, a famous sportsman, lived and died in Northgate in 1971 from Hodgkin's disease.[citation needed]
