Ogulin is a town in north-western Croatia, Karlovac county, population 8,712 (2001), total municipality population 15,054 (2001). Ogulin has many historical spots such as Kula, the stone castle, and the tall mountain nearby called Klek.

Ogulin's history dates back to the 15th century, where it struggled against the Ottoman Turks. In 1493, Bernardin Frankopan built the famous stone castle on Klek mountain. In the 16th century, it became a military stronghold against the Ottomans.
During the Croatian war of independence the town was successfully defended from the rebel Serbs by the 143rd Brigade. The town's local holiday is the Glorification of the Holy Cross on September 14.
The Dobra River runs through town.

According to 2001. census Croats compromise 75,7% and Serbs 20,7% of municipality population. Serbs form majority in villages of Drežnica, Jasenak, Potok Musulinski and some others.
