Only U is a single released by R&B singer Ashanti in 2004 from her third album Concrete Rose.
Ashanti's Only U reached #2 in the UK & reached the Top 20 in USA. Also, Only U reached the Top 10 in Germany (#10), Australia (#10), China (#8) and Japan (#6). It also reached the top 40 in France (#33).
The CD single was released in 2 formats (CD 1 included radio edit & turn it up, whereas CD2 also included exclusive b-side "Spend The Night" & the video)
The video was shot in Mexico City, Mexico and was directed by Hype Williams. It features Ashanti in sexy positions, posing and wearing a variety of outfits. In one scene, Ashanti is in the shower and in another she is in a cocoon-like lamp. The video ends with her and a group of female dancers performing the song in concert.
