Orga Sabnak is a fictional character in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. He is voiced by Joshida Ryohei in the original Japanese version and by Matt Smith in the English dubbed version.

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Sabnak, along with Clotho Buer and Shani Andras, is one of the three artificially enhanced soldiers assigned to operate the Earth Alliance's newest Gundam mobile suits. Like his comrades, Orga is classified as a "Living CPU" rather than a pilot, and all his personal data has been erased from the military's records. . A microchip is inserted into each of their brains, and it got rid of all feelings of fear and anxiety so that they could be merciless in battle. Since Orga is a biological CPU, every time he fights he has to take the drug Gamma Glipheptin; once its effects wear off, he goes into sudden and painful withdrawal.

Although he's effectively the leader of the trio, Orga's tactics are reckless and aggressive, and he often comes close to hitting his teammates with the heavy armament of his mobile battle suit, the GAT-X131 Calamity. Between missions, he usually passes the time reading paperback novels. Unlike Clotho and Shani, who were killed by Yzak Joule, Orga was killed during the Second Battle of Jachin Due by Clyne Faction/Three Ships Alliance pilot Athrun Zala in the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam.

  • The character's given name matches that of the kaiju Orga, who appeared in the movie Godzilla 2000: Millennium. His surname matches a common alternate spelling of the name of the demon Sabnock. [1]
  • In the English dub, Orga constantly says, "Hey, hey, hey!", much like Fat Albert.
  • From flashback sequences in Gundam SEED Destiny, the sequel series to Gundam SEED, Shinn Asuka's family is killed by an explosion resulting from a crossfire between the GAT-X131 Calamity, Orga's mobile suit, and the ZGMF-X10A Freedom. It is never made clear which mobile suit, if not both of them, is the direct cause of this tragedy.
