"Out of Space" was the fifth single released by the English band The Prodigy on 9 November 1992.
The title song features samples from the classic reggae track "I Chase the Devil" by Max Romeo, which was produced by Lee Scratch Perry. It also samples "Critical Beatdown" by the Ultramagnetic MCs, with the line "Pay close attention, I'll take your brain to another dimension." The video featured the band in a rural setting with Keith dressed up in a "raver's outfit" and archive footage of satellites and ostriches.
In 2005 "Out of Space" was released as a remix by Audio Bullys in the single "Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix)/Out of Space (Audio Bullys Remix)" from the greatest hits compilation Their Law: The Singles 1990-2005.
In 2007 Micha Moor remixed the song again, this time turning the song into a tech house hit. Klaas then remixed the Micha's remix and added extremly catch high baselines, and since then the song has been played in all the major clubs and dance scences around the world.[citation needed]
