Contents

The song was written and produced by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards for Farlowe a fellow Immediate artist.[2] It is distinctively known for its different versions. The first version appeared on the UK version of 1966's Aftermath. The song was 5:37 long. Then it appeared in the US on 1967's Flowers. It then appeared on the 1975 compilation album Metamorphosis. This version was, in fact, the backing track from the Chris Farlowe version, only with a Mick Jagger lead vocal.

The song was also covered by the Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers (appearing on their B-sides and covers album Lipstick Traces) as well as by The Ramones on Acid Eaters, and by Jimmy Barnes and Tex Perkins in 2005.
