Panthaya Kozhi is the next venture of Lal Jose under the banner of Lal Creations, the biggest banner of present Malluwood cinema. It's directed by M.A.Venu, who last did that off-beat Chakoram. Narain pairs up with Pooja for the first time. He is being launched as a full fledged action hero and he playes Nandagopal, a young man with a mission to accomplish in Kalimuthupalayam, a village in Tamilnadu. Actress Geetha will be appearing as Narain's mother in the film. Telugu actor Rami Reddy appeares as villain Nachappa gounder, the landlord and don of the Kalimuthupalayam village. The movie has five songs penned by Vayalar Sharatchandra Varma and Alex Paul team. Venugopal handles camera for the film. The story is by M A Venu and screenplay by J Pallasseri. The shooting of the film started on February 5 at at Palakkad and it's expected to release for Vishu in April. It will be a a pucca commercial movie.
