Parabiago is a town in the province of Milan, Lombardy, Italy.

Its gentilic in italian is parabiaghese in male and female singular forms, and parabiaghesi in male and female plurar last ones; in english it's translatable like parabiaguese for singular forms and parabiagueses for plural forms. But it's different in local insubric dialect, because is parabiaghës or parabiagœs for male singular form, parabiaghësa or parabiagœsa for female singular form, and parabiaghës or parabiagœs for the two plural forms.

In 1339 it was the site of the battle of Parabiago between Lodrisio and Luchino Visconti.

In June 2007, the First Handbike World Championship will set in Parabiago , that’s to say the three wheels bicycles whose athletes, with physical handicaps, pedal with arms. The town won on 4 September 2006 in London, during the WHF (World Hancycling Federation) final meeting, defeating Bruxelles (Belgium) and Perth (Australia).

This important event, which will give hospitality about 200 athlets from 20 nations, is organized by Gruppo Sportivo Rancilio (Rancilio's Sporting Group); the central streets of Parabiago will be its set for three days with Piazza Mercato (Market Place) as principal site, where the start and finish of the course, an athlets village, technicle structures, expo and eating areas will be set.
