Patricia Maynard

Patricia Maynard (born February 16, 1942 in Beighton, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England) is an actress. She was the second wife of actor Dennis Waterman, and they have two daughters, one of whom is the actress Hannah Waterman. She is now married to Jeremy Griggs, a circuit judge in the South West of England.

Her television roles have included parts on EastEnders (playing the mother of Laura Beale, who is also her off-screen daughter, Hannah), Emmerdale, Doomwatch, Coronation Street, General Hospital and Miss Winters in the Doctor Who serial Robot in 1975. She reprised the role of Miss Winters in the 2002 audio drama Sarah Jane Smith: Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre. She wrote the successful theme song to Minder, sung by her then-husband and star of the series Dennis Waterman.
