Le Patron

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Le Patron, literally translated as "The Boss", is a website that serves as a French spelling and grammar checker, serving as an excellent tool for students or learners [1]. The page text itself is offered in English and French, but the site itself serves solely for corrections of French works.

It is hosted on the Text Analysis Portal for Research (TAPoR) webspace, and the University of Alberta webspace. It has identified approximately 5.5 million errors since its creation in original creation in 1997 and appearance online in 2005. [2]
