Paul London and Brian Kendrick are a professional wrestling tag team on the RAW brand of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).^[2][1]

Prior to teaming together on WWE's SmackDown! brand, both Paul London and Brian "Spanky" Kendrick were students at Shawn Michaels' Texas Wrestling Academy, under the tutelage of Rudy Boy Gonzalez.^[4] From there they both went on to Ring of Honor, where they occasionally competed against each other.^[5][6]

Paul London and Brian Kendrick have faced off on five occasions in WWE. Four of them -- one a fatal-four way match -- before forming a team; with Kendrick winning two singles matches, and London winning a third and the fatal-four way (which also included Kid Kash and Jamie Noble). Since they've begun teaming, they've faced each other once, on the January 5, 2007 SmackDown! as part of the "Beat The Clock Sprint", a match that ended in a no-contest when the time limit expired.

In late 2002, Kendrick was hired by World Wrestling Entertainment,^[7] and in July 2003 London joined the company as well.^[8] Once in WWE together, and both on the SmackDown! brand, London and Kendrick began teaming together. They became a mainstay on the SmackDown!'s sister show Velocity^[3] until Kendrick left the company in February 2004.^[7]

Kendrick returned in the summer of 2005, using his real name, and in September 2005 London and Kendrick reformed as a tag team.^[9] Upon reuniting the team underwent an image makeover,^[10] including competing in matching shorts as well as wearing matching vests and masks to the ring. The new image brought new life to the team, who went on to have an impressive showing against Tag Team Champions, MNM (Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury).^[11] On the April 7, 2006 edition of SmackDown! London and Kendrick once again faced MNM, this time picking up a win in a non-title match.^[12] London and Kendrick continued their winning streak against the champions, earning singles victories for Kendrick and London over Nitro and Mercury respectively,^[13][14] leading to a title match at Judgment Day, where London and Kendrick won their first WWE Tag Team Championship as a team (London's second WWE Tag Team Title reign and Kendrick's first championship in the WWE).^[15]

On October 14, 2006 they became the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time, surpassing MNM's previous record of 145 days. The team started a losing streak to the team of William Regal and Dave Taylor, with Regal defeating both London^[16] and Kendrick^[17] in singles matches and Kendrick and London losing a non-title tag team match to the pair on the December 8 SmackDown!.^[18]

A scheduled title match between the two teams at Armageddon was changed immediately beforehand to a four-way ladder match, also involving The Hardys (Matt and Jeff) and MNM. In the new match London and Kendrick were able to retrieve the belts to retain their championship.^[19] When a regular tag team rematch was signed with Regal and Taylor two weeks later, London and Kendrick were successful in defeating them.^[20]

In February of 2007, a rematch of the Armageddon ladder match was scheduled for No Way Out. Before it could take place, however, London and Kendrick found themselves losing two (non-title) matches in a row to rookie SmackDown! team Deuce 'N Domino.^[21][22] As a result of the two losses in a row, the new team (kayfabe) complained to WWE headquarters that they were being overlooked and had the No Way Out match changed to a standard tag team match against them with London and Kendrick's title on the line,^[23] but at the pay-per-view London and Kendrick were able to defeat Deuce 'N Domino.^[24] Their almost year long reign came to an end when they were defeated by Deuce 'N Domino for the title on the April 20, 2007 edition of SmackDown! in Milan, Italy.^[25] They dropped the masks soon after losing the tag title.

London and Kendrick were drafted to RAW as the first picks in the Supplemental Draft on June 17, 2007^[26] and were successful on their RAW debut, defeating the World's Greatest Tag Team via a Sliced Bread #2 on Charlie Haas. On the September 3 edition of RAW, London & Kendrick defeated the World's Greatest Tag Team once again to earn a World Tag Team Championship match at Unforgiven against Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. Two days later, they defeated Cade and Murdoch for the title at a house show in South Africa.^[27] Three days later at another house show, Cade and Murdoch regained the title in a rematch.^[28]
