Pebble Mill at One

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pebble Mill at One was a legendary British afternoon chat show broadcast on BBC One from the Pebble Mill studios of BBC Birmingham. It ran from 1973 to 1986.

Pebble Mill at One (so called because it aired at 1pm) was then one of very few daytime magazine programmes, hence its popularity at the time. Presenters included Jan Leeming, Donny MacLeod, Fern Britton, Marian Foster, Bob Langley, Magnus Magnusson, Alan Titchmarsh, Josephine Buchan and Paul Coia.

The format returned in 1988 as Daytime Live, renamed Scene Today and finally Pebble Mill.
