Peter Douglas (born November 23, 1955) was an American Emmy Award-winning film producer and director.

Peter Douglas was born Peter Vincent Douglas in Los Angeles, California; to Oscar-nominated actor Kirk Douglas, and his Belgian wife, Anne Buydens.

Peter has one brother, Eric Douglas (d. 2004), and two half-brothers, Michael Douglas, and Joel Douglas.

Peter Douglas married, Lisa Marie Schoeder, on June 15, 1991. Together they have 4 children, Kelsey Douglas (b. 1992), Tyler Douglas (b. 1996), Ryan Douglas (b. 2000), and Jason Douglas (b. 2003).

Peter photographed Lesley-Anne Down, nude pictures that she later went to court to have returned to her after they appeared in UK mens magazine Mayfair.

Peter Douglas has Russian Jewish and Belarusian ancestry. He is also of Belgian descent.
