Peter Iwers

Peter Iwers (born on May 18, 1975 in Stockholm, Sweden). He is the current bass player of the Swedish band In Flames. He has played in In Flames since their 1999 album Colony, replacing Johan Larsson.

His bass playing style has been influenced by Toto bassist Mike Porcaro, as well as Geddy Lee from Rush and John Myung of Dream Theater fame [1]

He has two daughters and an ex-wife. His brother Anders is a bass player too, for Tiamat.

Before he joined In Flames, Iwers played in a band called Chameleon.

Together with Jesper Strömblad, he DJs around Sweden as DJ Sellout & DJ Kaos.

Peter uses equipment from ESP, Ibanez, Washburn, Peavey, Spector, and Ampeg.
