The Lost Boys are a group of immortal children who live in Neverland and their leader is none other than the famous Peter Pan (however, leadership of the group is eventually succeeded by John in the 1953 Disney variant of the story). Even though they are a group, the primary and most developed lost boy is Tootles.
- Tootles - Tootles is the humblest Lost Boy because he often misses out on their violent adventures. Although he is often stupid in voice and demeanor, he is always the first to defend Wendy. He grows up to become a judge. However, in Peter Pan in Scarlet, Tootles turns into a girl because he only has daughters to borrow clothes from. He is the most focused one of the lost boys and has appeared in almost all Peter Pan related material.
- Nibs - Nibs is described as gay and debonair, probably the bravest Lost Boy. He is chased by wolves in chapter five, and tattles on Slightly in chapter ten. He says the only thing he remembers about his mother is that she always wanted a cheque-book; he says he would love to give her one. He grows up to work in an office.
- Slightly - Slightly is the most conceited because he believes he remembers the days before he was "lost". He is the only Lost Boy who "knows" his last name - he says his pinafore had the words "Slightly Soiled" written on the tag. He cuts whistles and flutes from the branches of trees, and dances to tunes he creates himself. Slightly is apparently a poor make-believer. He blows big breaths when he feels he is in trouble, and he eventually leads to Peter's almost-downfall. Slightly grows up to marry a noblewoman and becomes a lord.
- Curly - Curly is the most troublesome Lost Boy. He is in charge of building the little house in chapter six. Curly grows up to work in an office; he is a doctor in Peter Pan in Scarlet.
- The Twins - First and Second Twin know little about themselves - they are not allowed to, because Peter Pan does not know what Twins are. First Twin is a mighty dancer, who loves to wear a dunce cap. He is called proud in Peter Pan and Wendy. The Twins grow up to work in an office. In Peter Pan in Scarlet, they are given the names Marmaduke and Binky.
Tootles is described as the most humble of the lost boys because he of his terrible luck with adventures. As soon as Tootles goes away to complete a chore or somesuch, bloody battles and thrilling adventures take place. Because of this he has become accepting of his lot in life, and is much sweeter for it. He is the first lost boy to be described. In chapter five of the novel and the fourth scene of the movie Peter Pan, he and the others shoot Wendy Darling with a bow and arrow after Tinker Bell tells them Wendy is a bird, and convinces them that killing her would bring great favor with Peter. Though he is titled clumsy and silly, Tootles is the first to defend Wendy when she wants to return to London. When Peter takes possession of The Jolly Roger, Captain Hook's pirate ship, Tootles takes Smee's place as boatswain. At the end of the novel he returns to London with Wendy and the other lost boys. He grows up to become a judge, but in the Disney film he and the other lost boys stay with Peter and later on appear in the sequel Return to Neverland. Suprisingly in the Disney version he has very little dialouge while in the novel he was the most characterized of the lost boys.
In Hook Tootles appears as an old man living in Wendy's house. He has become senile with age, and is constantly looking for his marbles, which he lost. It is later found out that he really had lost them- he had left them in the Never Land and Peter recovers them for Tootles. Tootles is also the only witness to Jack and Maggie's abduction. In the end, once Peter returned the bag of marbles to Tootles it turned out that it still contained some of Tinkerbell's pixie dust and Tootles used it to return to Neverland.
The other Lost Boys had already grown old and had forgotten about Neverland, but the ones that stayed behind in Neverland aided Peter in regaining his memories.
He and the other lost boys did not appear alongside Peter Pan and Sora in the Kingdom Hearts video game but they did appear in the Kingdom Hearts manga as comic relief, they fought Donald over some treasure they found in Captain Hook's ship.
