Piaggio Aero Industries is an aircraft manufacturing company born from the former Rinaldo Piaggio SPA, an Italian company. The company is one of the world's oldest airplane manufacturers, and its planes have been well known from early days of aviation history. Piaggio Aero is one of the most established Italian companies, composed of two operating units based in Liguria, Italy, and it has on payroll 1.450 skilled employees. There is also two subsidiaries: Piaggio Aero France (Cannes France and Piaggio America (West Palm Beach, Florida).
