Portsmouth Harbour railway station is a railway station in Portsmouth, England. It is situated beside Gunwharf Quays in the city's harbour, and is an important transport terminal, with a bus interchange and ferry services to Gosport and the Isle of Wight. The station currently has four platforms, an earlier fifth platform having been abandoned. These platforms are numbered 1, 3, 4 and 5. It is managed by South West Trains.

The station is built on a pier made of iron. It has become potentially dangerous over the years, and with large car ferries moving close by, there is a risk of collision. Therefore, there are plans to move the station back onto the position of the original station that was built onto the leading viaduct[citation needed].

The station opened in 1876 as the terminus of the Portsmouth Waterside Extension to the Portsmouth Direct Line, which runs between this station and London's Waterloo station [1].

The station is served by a number of train operators. South West Trains operate services to London Waterloo via the Portsmouth Direct Line (via Guildford) and also via Fareham and Winchester. They also operate local trains to Southampton Central.

There are train services along the West Coastway route, operated by Southern to Brighton and London Victoria. Also, First Great Western operate trains via Southampton and Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central, via the Wessex Main Line.

The ferry service to Ryde on the Isle of Wight is operated by Wightlink.
