Post-romanticism or Postromanticism is the postmodern expression of passion in art, and refers to the re-enactment of romantic themes and motifs. As an emerging trend, inspired by romanticism, and emphasizing the expression of passion and beauty in contemporary art, the cultural movement has been officially founded by artist Leonardo Pereznieto and writer Claudia Moscovici. The movement includes many internationally recognized artists from around the world, including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, France, Italy, Mexico, and the United States.

Romanticism mainly took the abstract form of a "ladder of love," leading from the human to the divine and from man to an ethereal, other-worldly muse. Post-romanticism brings the passion back to earth, finding beauty, sensuality and meaning in the daily human life; and combines the best of tradition with the best of modernity.

The first post-romantic art exhibition was at the Florence Biennale in 2005.
