"Promises" is an pop–dance song performed by British boy band Take That. The song was written by Gary Barlow and Graham Stack for Take That's debut album Take That and Party (1992). The song was released as the album's second single in November 1991. It was a modest success, charting at number thirty-nine on the UK Singles Chart.^[1]
