"Pry, To" is the seventh track from Pearl Jam 's Vitalogy.
It contains a hidden message when played backwards that sounds like "Oh, Pete Townshend, how you saved my life!" and contains variations of this. (It is well known that Eddie Vedder is a huge fan of The Who.)
When played forwards the lyrics contain two main sets which are repeated numerous times. They are:
"P-r-i-v-a-c-y is priceless to me" and "P-r-i-v-a-c-y!"
These lyrics can be taken to go with the intentional retreat from superstardom and massive popularity that Pearl Jam and Vedder were to take after the release of this album.
