Major cities: Sherbrooke, Quebec

Autoroute 610 is a short spur road located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, connecting Autoroute 55 and Autoroute 10 to Route 112.

It is the newest Autoroute and was part of Autoroute 10 until September 29, 2006. The Ministère des Transports du Québec announced its decision to assign a new number to that portion of Autoroute 10 on that date, claiming that it is more consistent with the Quebec road numbering plan, and that it would benefit motorists by helping them to orient themselves. [1] As a result Autoroute 10 now ends at the end of its multiplex with Autoroute 55.

The autoroute is listed on the Ministère des Transports du Québec website as having been opened to traffic in 1988. The eastern part (east of Exit 7, formerly Exit 150), opened in 1992, is a two-lane freeway.
