RAW FM is one of several Pirate radio stations tramsmitting in the Luton area. They usually transmit from Friday to Sunday and is hosted by a variety of DJs each playing a different type of music. Often DJs compete in "Ring and Drop" competitions when they tell everyone listening to dial a mobile phone number and then put it down after a few rings, the DJ then announces how many missed calls they have received. The DJ with the most missed calls is considered the most popular.
