Real Country is a 24-hour radio format produced by ABC Radio Networks. Real Country is marketed at the 18 to 54 demographic in rural areas of the United States. Their programming consists of a fairly broad playlist of "Today's Stars and the Legends". You'll hear a lot of Tim McGraw and George Strait on the order of Today's Stars, and George Jones, Mel Tillis and Johnny Cash as examples of the Legends. However, they are focused on classic country, so you won't hear a lot of Faith Hill, Gretchen Wilson, or Big & Rich.

Citadel Broadcasting purchased ABC Radio Networks from Disney in February, 2006. It is currently unknown if ABC Radio Networks will be renamed.

Note that affiliates are free to replace the network feed with local programming if they desire. All times are Eastern.
