Rebecca "Becky" Donaldson-Katsopolis (presumably born in the early 1960s) is a character on the TV sitcom Full House played by Lori Loughlin. Her character was originally meant to be a brief love interest to Danny Tanner but due to her popular audience response, she became a recurring character and major love interest to Jesse Katsopolis. Her hairstyle created a popular, Rachel Green-esque trend[citation needed] of what came to be known as "Aunt Becky hair". Evidence of this phenomenon can be seen in many early episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark?.

Becky was born and raised in Valentine, Nebraska. In the eighth season's episode Michelle Rides Again, Part 1 Becky reveals she went to an all girls' high school back in Nebraska.

Becky found the man of her dreams in the wild Jesse. She was reluctant to admit this at first, but she found herself liking Jesse more and more. They almost eloped in Lake Tahoe at the end of season two, then finally tied the knot in the middle of season four. She, along with his living with the Tanners, helped to transform Jesse, although she still teased Jesse about his love of Elvis and his own hair at times. However, though these obsessions annoyed her at times even after their wedding, she was the wife part of a couple that obviously loved each other very much despite their differences.

One of those differences was that she wanted him to focus more on his family, and not his music. She supported his musical efforts, but at times he went too far with it, such as when the family went to Tokyo for two weeks after he had a song, Forever, that reached the top of the charts in Japan. Another time, she was upset that Jesse was doing his radio show with Joey and not spending time on what was supposed to be their honeymoon at Disney World. And, of course, there were the normal familial differences, with Becky always wanting to go to Nebraska for their wedding, and Jesse wishing to go to Graceland. These were settled with the same love and humor that marked other situations. One of their problems while courting was that Becky was obviously more educated than Jesse was and often this was a difference between the two of them, as Jesse sometimes felt inferior as a result. This was true when Jesse accompanied Becky to a party and found himself unable to relate to the well-educated men there because he "had not read War and Peace". She tried to ensure that he did not feel inferior.

Rebecca also served as a mother figure for the girls at times, and one imagines that each of them confided in Becky when it came to issues regarding puberty and other topics. She combines the role of mother, producer of Wake Up, San Francisco, the show she hosts with Danny, and loving aunt in a very positive and loving way. Rebecca didn't come into the picture until the second episode of season two, Tanner vs. Gibbler. She was to host a new show with Danny, which was Wake Up, San Francisco, but her role didn't really become serious until she and Jesse became boyfriend and girlfriend. Rebecca gave birth to her and Jesse's twin sons, Nicky and Alex, in the middle of season five.

Becky does have her own flaws. She enjoys teasing Danny as well as disbelieves he has any talent, she has a short temper at times, usually has bad cooking skills, and apparently doesn't have the best singing voice, although she sang perfectly well at her wedding (a duet of Forever with Jesse).
