- Historical revisionism, the critical reexamination of historical facts.
- Historical revisionism (negationism), a particular form of historical revisionism concerned with the denial of facts accepted by mainstream History.
- Marxist revisionism, a pejorative term used to describe ideas based on a revision of fundamental Marxist premises.
- Revisionist Zionism, a movement that argues the terms of the British Mandate in Palestine.
