Ricardo Almeida (born November 29, 1976) is a retired mixed martial artist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) grappler from Hamilton, New Jersey. He is a Black Belt in BJJ under Renzo Gracie. In mixed martial arts, Almeida is known as a former middleweight contestant of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, a veteran of the PRIDE Fighting Championships, and a former Middleweight King of Pancrase.

Almeida runs his own Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in Hamilton, New Jersey where he coaches up and coming MMA fighter Kidd Skiddal. [1]
