Rich Cronin

Rich Cronin (born Richard Burton Cronin, on August 30, 1975) is a singer and song writer from Orlando, Florida (originally from Kingston, Massachusetts and a graduate of Sacred Heart High School). He was part of the pop trio LFO. He wrote the hit Summer Girls in 1999, which is also known as The Abercrombie & Fitch Song, the single hit No.3 on Billboard's Hot 100, and No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Single Sales chart for six weeks, the single also went Platinum in the US for sales of over 1,000,000 units. Rich is of Irish, English, and Swedish descent.[1]

He also was known for dating Jennifer Love Hewitt from 1999 until 2001. She was featured in the music video for a song he wrote called Girl on TV, which was the 2nd biggest single he wrote. It hit No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and No.2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Single Sales chart, selling over 750,000 copies in the US, and was certified Gold by the RIAA. Likes it in the pooper.

On September 21, 2000 Rich Cronin joined his platinum-selling band LFO and Eric West, in Brooklyn, New York to help lead the Light The Night Walk with 12 year-old leukemia survivor Kimberly Thach, the Society's National Youth Ambassador. West, Cronin and Thach lead approximately 1,000 leukemia survivors, friends, and family members carrying illuminated balloons over the Brooklyn Bridge to commemorate lives touched by cancer.

On April 14, 2005, he was hospitalized with leukemia. He is currently working on a new album with Hydrogen Records and Poprox producers which has an unknown title.

In October 2006, it was announced that Cronin would participate in the new VH1 reality TV series, Man Band.

Rich Cronin as "Rich Nice" and Doug Ray as "Toothpick" (formerly of Bad Ronald) recently collaberated on a project as Loose Cannons and released an album in 2006.

Rich has also made numerous appearances on the Kidd Chris Show broadcast on WYSP in Philadelphia.
