Ricky Shakes (born January 25, 1985 in Brixton, England) is a football player who plays as a striker. He currently plays for Swindon Town, having transferred from Bolton in 2005.

He initially played with the training academy of Charlton Athletic F.C. before moving to Bolton.

Shakes made his debut in the FA Cup third-round replay against Tranmere Rovers F.C. on January 13, 2004 as a substitute for Stelios Giannakopoulos. He scored a dramatic last-minute equalizer in the match and it was courtesy of his goal that the match entered extra time. However, his efforts were to be nullified in the first minute of extra time by a goal from Tranmere's Edinburgh-born Canadian striker Iain Hume.

On March 24, 2005, he was loaned to Bury F.C. along with Danny Boshell.

Bolton released Shakes at the end of the 2004/05 season but was quickly signed by Swindon Town alongside side fellow Bolton youngster Charlie Comyn-Platt.

Shakes had a mixed first season at Swindon. Sometimes impressing with his performances sometimes frustrating after missing chances in vital matches.

The highlight of Shakes' 2005/06 season was breaking into the Trinidad set-up. Shakes earned his first cap for the small nation as a half-time sub in the 2-0 win over Iceland at Loftus Road. Despite making a decent account of himself, Shakes failed to make Leo Beenhakker's final 23-man squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup but was put on stand-by for the Soca Warriors.

Shakes signed a one-year contract for Swindon Town in 2006.

Shakes is immortalised in the famous Swindon Town fans football chant "Ricky Shakes Is Who We Are Chanting For":

Ricky Shakes is who we are chanting for War war war war war war war He's good friends with Tracey Smothers Huvver huvvers huvvers huvvers Wam wam wam wam wam wam Wam wam wam wam wam wam Ooooh Ricky Shakes
