"Right Here Waiting" is a song recorded by Richard Marx on his sophomore album, Repeat Offender, which produced another top single, "Satisfied". "Right Here Waiting" hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

In 1998, the song was covered by Monica and 112 on her second album The Boy Is Mine. It was also covered by Clay Aiken on his most recent album, A Thousand Different Ways, in 2006. It has also been covered by Julio Iglesias (2006), William Hung (2005), Matt Tyler (2005), Stefanie Bennet (2005), and Donny Osmond (2005).

"Right Here Waiting" was the second single off of Richard Marx's sophomore album, Repeat Offender, after "Satisfied". "Right Here Waiting" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart at #44, the week of July 8, 1989, and reached #1 by August 12, 1989. The single spent three consecutive weeks at the summit, only to be dislodged by Paula Abdul's "Cold Hearted", the week of September 2, 1989.
