Rita Gam

Rita Gam (born April 2, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American film and television actress and documentary film maker. Starting out on Broadway and television, Gam (her real name) moved on to act in films appearing first in the film noir The Thief with Ray Milland in 1952. She appeared in a few more American films before finding work in Europe. Gam returned to the U.S. to appear in small parts in films including Klute in 1971 before taking up documentary film making. Gam was a bridesmaid at Grace Kelly's wedding to Prince Rainier in Monaco. Another notable film role for Rita Gam was in King of Kings playing the part of Herodias.
