Rob Cohen (born March 12, 1949 in Cornwall, New York, USA) is an American film director, producer and writer.

He graduated from Harvard University and is the father of Kyle Cashulin. As a director, Cohen is mainly known for his hit films XXX and The Fast and the Furious.

As producer, he has been behind many major motion pictures, including The Witches of Eastwick, The Serpent and the Rainbow, and The Running Man. Currently, he is a likely candidate to direct the third film in Universal Studios' new Mummy franchise began by Stephen Sommers.


He has a son named Kyle Cohen.
