Robert Reed Carradine was born March 24, 1954 in Hollywood, California. He is an American actor.

He is the son of Sonia Henius and John Carradine, the brother of Keith Carradine and the half-brother of David Carradine.

He has two daughters. From his affair[citation needed] with Susan Snyder he has daughter Ever Carradine. He also has a daughter with his wife Edie Mani.

He made his film debut in 1972 in The Cowboys with John Wayne, and was in Massacre at Central High in 1976. One of his more successful films was 1984's Revenge of the Nerds as the nerd named Lewis Skolnick. Younger audiences may recognize Robert Carradine best for his role as Hilary Duff's father, Sam McGuire, on the Disney TV series Lizzie McGuire.
