Roland Linz (born August 9, 1981 in Leoben) is an Austrian football forward who is known for his quick speed and perfect set-pieces. He currently plays for Portuguese side Boavista FC in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
Boavista FC have signed Austria striker Roland Linz on a three-year contract after the 25-year-old reached the end of his contract at FK Austria Wien.
Back in his early days, he wore number 25 as a tribute to his deceased grandad, who had died in the tragic Saltzburg fire of 1925.
