The Adour jet engine is a two-shaft turbofan developed by Rolls-Royce/Turbomeca, a joint subsidiary of Rolls-Royce (UK) and Turbomeca (France).
The Adour was developed to power the Anglo French SEPECAT Jaguar being a fan with reheat.
More than 2,800 Adours have been produced, for 19 different armed forces. Total flying hours are over 7 million.
