Roomrama
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Roomrama is the de facto national anthem of the Assyrian people. According to the Iraqi constitution (Article 4e-4), the Assyrian language is official in the areas where they are located. It was composed by Nebu Juel Issabey and written by Yosip Bet Yosip for the Assyrian Universal Alliance and the Assyrian independence movement. The Assyrians are an ethnic group, whose ancestral land lies in northern Iraq, western Iran, north-eastern Syria, and south-eastern Turkey, but are now scattered over many continents.
