Although the mall uses the prestigious Garden City address, it lies just outside of the village limits in East Garden City, and thus is not required to pay taxes to the village. It is within the Town of Hempstead. The mall is located off of the Meadowbrook Parkway, making it easily accessible from the Long Island Expressway, Northern State Parkway, and Southern State Parkway. It is a major hub of MTA Long Island Bus, with several bus routes stopping in a terminal area next to the southern parking structure. lobot
