From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ryan Lamb (born 18 May 1986 in Gloucester) is a rugby union footballer who plays at fly-half for Gloucester.

A former pupil of St. Peter's High School, he made his professional debut in the European Challenge Cup quarter final against Brive in 2005 which Gloucester won comfortably. England and Gloucester centre Anthony Allen and full back Olly Morgan also made their professional debuts in that match.

Lamb is an extremely talented fly half, whose vision and composure is getting him touted as a future England fly half.

He is one of the latest products of the Gloucester Academy which has produced most of their extremely promising back line, which Gloucester coach, Dean Ryan has predicted as a possible World Cup 2011 back line.
