Sam McMurray

Sam McMurray (born April 15, 1952 in New York) is an American television, film and voice actor. He may be best known for his work as a featured player on The Tracey Ullman Show and for minor roles in the films Raising Arizona, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, LA Story and C.H.U.D.. He played Doug, Chandler's boss on Friends in a recurring role, on The King of Queens he plays Doug's Boss, Supervisor Patrick O'Boyle and on Freaks and Geeks he played Neal Schweiber's adulterous dad Dr. Vic Schweiber. He also had a featured role in the film Drop Dead Gorgeous as Lester Leeman. He guest starred in the "Homer's Night Out" episode of The Simpsons. However, he probably gained the most international recognition in the computer world for his role as the voice of 'BBC Newscaster/American Newscaster' in Command and Conquer Red Alert 2. He also voiced Roy Hess in Dinosaurs.
