San Martin (San Martino) (Italian: San Martino in Badia; German: St. Martin in Thurn; Ladin: San Martin de Tor) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 90 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 45 km northeast of the city of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,720 and an area of 76.5 km².[1]

The municipality of San Martin (San Martino) contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Antermëia (Antermoia), Longiarù (Campill), and Picolin (Piccolino).

San Martin (San Martino) borders the following municipalities: Badia, Brixen (Bressanone), Corvara (Corvara in Badia), Villnöß (Funes), La Val (La Valle), Lüsen (Luson), Mareo (Marebbe), Santa Crestina Gherdëina (Santa Cristina Valgardena), and Sëlva (Selva).
